Still, I would like to congratulate the winning team who played with Jim Pope. I would also like to congratulate the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office for winning the Law Enforcement Departmental Challenge.

On September 11, 2009 Realty World TriShasta (a real estate office here in Shasta County) will host their third annual scramble gold tournaments for the benefit o the Enterprise Lions Club. The tournament will be held at Gold Hills Golf Club, registration is at 7 am and the shotgun start will be at 8 am. This tournament is a four person scramble, and the cost is $100 per person. Military, firefighters, and police officers have a discount on the entry fee. With the cost of $100 you receive a golf package that includes: green fess, 18 holes of golf, a cart, range balls, and lunch. There are also sponsorship packages available, these include the Gold package, the Purple package, the Lions Pride package, the Cub Sponsor package, and the Trophy Sponsor package. The Gold package is a $1000 sponsorship which includes the four person package, an exclusive hole sponsorship, four raffle tickets, and a grand prize ticket. The Purple package is $600 and includes a two person package, hole sponsorship, and a grand prize ticket. The Lions Pride package is $300 and includes a hole sponsorship with booth, two meal tickets, and a chance to win a prize for the best dressed booth. The Cub Sponsor package is $200 and includes a hole placard. The Trophy Sponsor package is $50 and includes your business name engraved on one of the awards given out at the end of the tournament. I am also proud to announce that I am sponsoring four trophies for the most departmental entries. There are four categories for this challenge: most personnel per military branch, most EMT per department, most fire crew members per department, and most law enforcement per department. So far for the EMT, fire, and military no one has signed up yet (so this will be a great chance for members to start signing up, their is a greater chance that their department will end up winning the trophy). As for the law enforcement division there has been a total of three who have signed up for the golf tournament, and they are all from the District Attorney’s Office, so come on you other departments do you really want to them to win?
